About Tamara
Tamara Nieves, 27, brings her strong background in fashion to the table as the new Director of Marketing. With a degree in Fashion Marketing from the Art Institute of Philadelphia, as well as work experience in marketing and public relations, Tamara is able to deliver innovative and effective strategies when it comes to new business concepts. Her experience as the Operations Manager has given her a strong sense of responsibility and creativity alike. Tamara is excited to be joining Buzz and will oversee all marketing operations.

What is the best restaurant you have ever been to?
It’s really hard to say. I love so many places. In Philadelphia we have great BYOB restaurants that concentrate more on the food then the bar. There are so many themed places to eat. I don’t have a favorite at the moment, just depends what I am in the mood for!
Favorite vacation destination?
Grand Cayman Islands, I was only there for a day on a cruise but it was gorgeous, I want to go back and explore. I also loved London. It is such a clean fascinating city. So many people are from all over the world.
Snack you cannot get enough of?
Bootie Food white cheddar puffed snack & Trader Joe’s pita chips with hummus.
What TV show can you never ever miss?
Used to be Sex & the City, I always miss TV shows now. I would have to say net flicks of Heroes, & The Wire.
Favorite sport to play? Favorite sport to watch?
Tennis. Live Ice Hockey I can get into any sport watching Live.
What fashion trend are you completely ready to let go of?
Ugg Boots. I also just saw someone wearing hot pink Moon Boots, which I thought were long gone.
If you could have dinner with any famous person who would it be and why?
Madonna. She is an extremely an uninhibited strong woman who still looks Fabulous!
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Owning my own home. Being well established in the Marketing World and still making a constant effort to help others with their lives. Pay it Forward.
If you can pick just one thing, what is your favorite part about working at buzz?
The ever-changing day. Some days in the office, some days on the road. All the different clients and new business projects!
Who is the cutest dresser in the office?
Everyone is pretty stylish and dresses well. I will have to say I do have my eye on all Adrianne’s great boots!
Which co-worker is most likely to be late?
Me! I somehow leave my apartment on time and sometimes a few minutes ahead of time, but end up behind the garbage truck on a one lane-one way street
Who is the most chatty office member?
I am not sure, we all love to talk.
What is the one thing that can ruin any good day?
Rain when you are working. Stuck at home its great and relaxing.

Hard to say I was not too impressed with any one in particular.
Knocked Up or Superbad?
Super Bad, Knocked Up was definitely funny but a little too lengthy.
If given the choice, would you never want to hear about Paris Hilton again?
Yes, I think we have all had enough, Go on live your life Paris we don’t care.
What was your number one jam of the year?
I would have to say Fergie’s “ Big Girls Don’t Cry” “Clumsy.”
What holiday do you look forward to all year?
I guess Christmas minus the stress of gift buying.
Would you rather win an MTV award or the Nobel Prize?
Noble Prize, its an amazing accomplishment and such an unbelievable achievement.

I do enjoy waking up and starting a new day.
