Blue Fusion Launches Midas Recording Artist "Angel" At Licensing 2004

June 7, 2004 - Blue Fusion, a youth marketing consultancy formed out of a partnership between DC consulting firm Westin Rinehart and teen-marketer Buzz Marketing Group, will launch the debut of Midas Records recording artist "Angel" at the LICENSING 2004 International conference June 8th & 9th at the Jacob K. Javitz Convention Center in New York City. The marketing strategy includes giving the music away for free with branded merchandise.

Blue Fusion's strategy to give the music away for free is a result of understanding teen consumers who have grown up in a world where music was "free" with illegal downloading. The company is branding an arsenal of products for purchase, branded by Angel, and will offer licensees the opportunity to meet Angel at the show.

"Kids today would rather download for free, or burn a friend's CD, than walk into a record store and buy an album from a new artist," said Morris Reid, managing partner of Blue Fusion. "Angel's music will be free with branded cool products for teens and so far, the response we have had has been amazing."

Using a throw back strategy, Blue Fusion began generating buzz around the artist before the debut with a nation wide high school tour earlier this year. With daily access to the largest network of teens and tweens, Blue Fusion is on top of all the latest trends, spending habits and musical tastes of this billion-dollar consumer audience.
