She’s shattering records on the music charts, collecting awards right and left, and gearing up for a six-month, 50-city tour…so it’s no wonder 19-year-old pop-country singer Taylor Swift’s album is called Fearless. Now she’s taking that attitude and diving into the fashion industry with her first-ever clothing line through Jones Apparel Group’s L.e.i called Sundresses by Taylor Swift. The dresses will be sold exclusively in Wal-Mart stores starting this month, and no item costs more than $20 (the dresses retail for $14). And since sundresses have been Taylor’s trademark (and her favorite) look, everyone can afford to feel like a star this spring!

Say goodbye to those humiliating anti-acne TV commercials! Dermalogica, the skin-care line that’s a spa staple takes their strict no-artificial-colors-or-fragrance mantra to the teen set with Clean Start by Dermalogica, launching this month. Instead of focusing on just zit-zapping, Clean Start trains teens on how to keep skin fresh and healthy. Each of the eight products serve 2-in-1 functions, from the Ready, Set, Scrub masque, which fights breakouts and refines pores, to the aptly-named Bedtime for Breakouts, which both exfoliates the skin and clears redness overnight. And to fully cater to the generation, there’s an accompanying online forum at cleanstart.dermalogica.com.

Watch out Paramore, there’s a new girl-fronted rock band on the rise. Cassadee Pope’s sassy spirit and strong power-pop vocals attracted the attention of music execs not long after she finished high school. Before she knew it, her band Hey Monday had a record deal, a joint venture between Columbia Records and Fall Out Boy Pete Wentz’s label, Decaydance. Pete calls the band “a Coke can that has been shaken and simply waiting to be opened.” To help that explosion along, he’s taken them on a worldwide tour, opening for Fall Out Boy through May. But all it takes is one listen to realize Hey Monday rocks — any day of the week.

Mix the retro-style Wellies (aka rain boots in Brit speak) with a lovable classic Sanrio character and you’ve got the hottest (and cutest) in footwear — Hello Kitty Rain Boots. There’s the Retrospective with a repeated graphic of Hello Kitty’s face, the Crest in light pink with a school emblem of Kitty’s face, and the Cute (pictured here), which is too adorable for words. All of the styles come in both kids ($39.95) and adult ($79.95) sizes. And with celebrities wearing rain boots in both rain and shine, they just might be giving the bulky Uggs a run for their money! Goodbye mushy and muddy feet, and hello to Hello Kitty Wellies!

It’s the return of Buffy the Vampire Slayer…well, kind of. Buffy’s creator Joss Whedon and alumna Eliza Dushku team up again in a new sci-fi thriller series, airing on Fox starting February 13 at 9 p.m. (ET/PT). The series follows an underground operation, which takes girls like Echo (Dushku) and wipes their personalities clean in order to replace them with different personas to execute specific missions. But when Echo starts remembering everything, she pieces together the secrets of the Dollhouse. So leave the vampires alone for Twilight, this hour-long drama is all about the dolls.

Computers are about to get a lot more kooky! The Kooky Klicker pens that were named one of Toy Book’s Ten Hottest Toys at Retail in 2002 have been adapted into USB drives, available at Office Depot stores. With their trademark big hair and goofy grins, the Kooky Krew characters are so popular that fans have created homemade videos about them on the Kooky YouTube and MySpace pages. And for ultra Kooky fans, there’s a Kooky Fun Klub to continue the craziness all year long. So don’t take your USB drives so seriously—give them a little hair-raising kookiness!
